The Cumberland Valley School District is committed to providing high quality online educational options for students and families who elect for this mode of instruction.

At the elementary level, instruction is delivered in a mainly live (Zoom) format with students being assigned to one teacher.  This allows students to acquire foundational academic skills while enjoying a close relationship with their teacher and classmates.

At the middle school level, students attend live (Zoom) classes for approximately 120 minutes a day, Monday-Friday.  The rest of students academic week is spent completing assigned asynchronous assignments or meeting individually with teachers.

At the high school level, students are enrolled in asynchronous courses provided by CVVA's content-provider (CAOLA).  This allows students to access a wide variety of courses while completing their work on a daily schedule that works for them and their families.
