Cumberland Valley Virtual Academy (CVVA) allows students to learn online from any location. Students benefit from the rigor and pacing of CVVA's curriculum while remaining connected to their home school building for events, clubs, and athletics. CVVA students receive the same report cards, transcripts, and diplomas as our face-to-face students. Students also benefit from the knowledge, expertise, and compassion of CVVA staff partnering with our high quality technology partners.
CVVA enables students to complete classwork online using an asynchronous format, meaning no specific schedules. There is simply the expectation of daily work completion following a pacing guide which corresponds to marking period timelines. Courses are facilitated by certified teachers contracted through partner vendors.
All face-to-face core courses can be replicated along with most electives. We offer a wider array of electives. We can tailor a class schedule that meets district graduation requirements while also meeting coursework needs for each students.
